Friday:
After you arrive in Minden we invite you to take a walk through the historic town and explore the city by yourself. Discover the downtown shopping area and relax next to the river Weser. The highlight of the day: A surprise menu in your hotel.

Saturday:

Directly after breakfast you will visit the Kaiser-Wilhelm- Monument. It was built to "strengthen the nation". The most important landmark of northern East Westphalia welcomes you with a panoramic view over Minden and the Porta Westfalica. A 20-minute drive from Minden's city center and 268 meters above sea level, the monument is situated on the Wittekindsberg. The new designed visitor center invites you to explore the natural and cultural history of the Porta interactively after your tour. During enjoing the stunning view you will have lunch at the Restaurant "Wilhelm 1896".
At the afternoon you will discover the historical side of Minden during a guided tour.

Sunday:

You should not miss out on a boat trip when you’re visiting Minden. Admire the largest double waterway crossing in the world on a very special "cruise" and experience the 13-meter difference in height during a lock between the Canal and the Weser. During this ride you will also see the ship mill, which you will visit in the afternoon to discover how corn gets into flour.
